• With one exception, data of habitat
attributes from the summer
sampling is in spreadsheets
awaiting upload to the database.
The exception is site-specific flow
data that will be provided by
Northwest Hydraulic Consultants
(NHC). NHC is waiting for higher
spring flows to complete rating
curves that will be used to calculate
site-specific flows from gauge
readings.
• Summer benthic invertebrate
enumerations and biomass
measurements are complete. Data
are presently being appended to
similar data from 1996, 2000 and
2005. QAQC for appending of data
is complex because the count and
biomass for each taxon must be
matched with the same taxon from
earlier years. Some nomenclature
has changed over time so matching
of taxa requires linking different
names or combinations of names.
Data from more than 170 taxa has
to be matched and checked for
accuracy.
• Summer periphyton identifications
and cell enumerations are
complete. Data are being
appended to that from 1996 and
2000 and QAQC is being applied
as described above for benthic
invertebrates.
• Summer series complete.
• Winter series complete.
• Spring series to be done
in May – June 2009.
• Fall series to be done in
October – December
2009.
