TuffCap
TuffCap has a brand
new range that
offers even more
choice for
wearers. The
fully
bespoke
EN 812
protective
baseball
cap with ABS hard shell, for workers at risk of
minor bumps and scrapes to the head, is now
offering improved performance and comfort
benefits. Customers can choose from fabrics that
have waterproof, antibacterial, anti-static and
flame-retardant properties. Brushed cotton,
microfibre, high-vis to standard EN 471 and 3M
Reflective tape are also in stock and caps can
be personalised through embroidered or
printed logos.
Sharon Lee’s Toby Pache says: “We’re now
using our expertise in textiles to increase comfort
and functionality for those wearing it for
prolonged periods by introducing features such
as towelling sweatbands as well as more detailed
and unusual cover designs.” The next stage of
the product’s evolution will be developing a new
hard shell – so watch this space.

Sublimated Corporate and Work T-Shirts
and Polo Shirts
This innovative thermal face guard for safety
helmets has been designed to keep the
wind off the face, neck and chin. Fully
detachable, it is worn on the outside of a
hard hat to avoid interference with the
internal harness. Features include a
Velcro strap around the chin, ear vents
for hearing and a pull cord and fleximesh
peak that can adjust the face
guard to fit different hat sizes.

for thermal

Small woven labels
or transfers for

Ara NV, the Belgium-based manufacturer of sublimation and heat transfers, has
joined forces with Time Out Denmark to produce sublimated corporate and work
T-shirts and polo shirts that are made from a blend of cotton and recycled polyester.
The fabrics are also dry-printed, which can save large quantities of water compared
to when painted.
When applied to the inner cotton layer, a sublimation print will give your personalised
company T-shirts and polo shirts that something extra. Not only is the cotton layer ultrasoft
for optimum comfort, but the sublimation technique can reproduce any pantone
colour exactly - at no extra cost.
This offers unlimited possibilities in design, making anything possible including photo
prints and ton sur ton. The sublimated print also has a high colourfastness, while the
shirts are extremely durable, crease-free and retain their shape. Short delivery times are
available for small to very large volumes.

fabrics are

colours and the polo shirts are available from a
size 4 for children to size XXXL for adults. A
minimum order of 250 shirts can be made to
bespoke requirements. Toby says: “The
factory’s large stocks of fabrics, collar cuffs
and plackets mean that if a customer asked us,
for example, for a bottle green polo shirt with a
yellow placket, a black collar and sky blue cuffs,
we can effectively build it using a mix and match
of stock fabrics.”
Customer labelling, two-position embroidery and
back neck taping are also available.
