The equipment is <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> very best throughout, <strong>the</strong> fleshhoops, <strong>the</strong> modern quarter-round style, which hold <strong>the</strong> head tighter than <strong>the</strong> old square kind and at <strong>the</strong> same time do not run <strong>the</strong> risk <strong>of</strong> cutting through. This drum has 12 double acting rods, so that ei<strong>the</strong>r head can be fastened independently <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r. The center eyelet support is machine-turned, and has 1 very heavy base which prevents damage to <strong>the</strong> shell <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> drum, and fur<strong>the</strong>rmore it is screwed from <strong>the</strong> inside in <strong>the</strong> same manner as <strong>the</strong> best banjo bracket. The snare strainer is <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> new approved long model with Banjo socket and cirrier, which style is also used for <strong>the</strong> belt hook. The thumb-rod <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> snare strainer is made in a very substantial and yet good-looking way. so that all <strong>the</strong> attachments on <strong>the</strong> drum taken toge<strong>the</strong>r, being <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> highest quality material, finely nickeled and burnished, give an added touch <strong>of</strong> grace and strength to <strong>the</strong> whole looks <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> drum.
