THE RUDLOPH WURLITZER CO., CINCINNATI, O.
The Wurlitzer Violin Department
There is no branch of the Wurlitzer business in which the house takes more pride than the Violin Department.
Our experience of more than half a century in the manufacture, importation and sale of Violins has resulted in our undis
puted leadership in this field. We sell more than 20,000 violins annually
From our extensive and varied lines, we guarantee to suit every customer's taste, as to make, model, wood, age, tone, resonance,
color and trimming. No other house pretends to have so complete and varied a line and certainly none can successfully compete
with us on price.
Musical quality is everything in a violin. Without it none is worth having. The violin buyer is far more likely to get satis
faction in his purchase from almost any musical firm than from a general supply house that knows nothing of music, and cares less.
All our violins have this feature of musical quality in a marked degree—the utmost possible at the price. Each and every
one is designed to improve with age and usage. Our line from start to finish represents the pick of the world's market, which was
naturally tendered us, because of our long established business and the prestige of our house and the scope of our business.
I We offer the most careful and painstaking expert service to our patrons in selection. A large part of our business consists in fur
nishing professional and amateur players in all parts of the world a satisfactory instrument from their written statement of their per
sonal wants in tone quality, model and price. We will gladly send one or more selected violins costing $10.00 or more to responsible
parties on trial, when this plan is thought necessary to secure the desired instrument.
/ With every violin sold at $10.00 or more, we issue an engraved certificate of value (see reproduction below) the terms of which
are that in the event of a purchaser's desiring a more expensive instrument, the full price is allowed in exchange, provided the violin
is not damaged in excess of ordinary wear and tear. In case you wish to sell the violin at private sale, this certificate is especially
valuable.
