quality, extending back over half a century. ^ The combined business of our Cincinnati and Chicago Violin Departments
is generally estimated to be the largest in the world, and certain it is that our extensive foreign connections have
brought us the cream of the European market for some years past. Our staff of foreign buyers includes the foremost violin connoisseurs—men
who know every nook and corner of the violin centers of the old world. It is a common saying abroad, that
the Wurtitzer drag-net secures about everything worth having in the violin line.
^ If your present instrument does not quite measure up to your ideals for the work you are doing, we will undertake to fur­
nish you one that will be absolutely satisfactory in every way. Simply write us and state whether you are a soloist, teacher
or orchestra player, what class of instrument you are now using, and what are your ideas as to tone, quality, model and price.
^ Our specialist will select a few likely instruments and send them to you on trial, when you can satisfy yourself by comparison,
as to whether we are able to furnish you just what you require at a price fair and reasonable.
^ With every violin sold at $10.00 or more, we issue an engraved certificate of value, the terms of which are, that should
the purchaser desire a more expensive instrument later, the full purchase price will be allowed in exchange, provided of course
the instrument is not damaged in excess of ordinary wear. This certificate besides serving as a constant reminder of the value
of your instrument, will prove of real practical value, should you wish to dispose of the violin at private sale.
^ We arrange convenient time payments and will make a fair allowance for used instruments in exchange.
