Boride Abrasives
Delivered Next Day
When European mould and die makers
want to purchase polishing stones,
mounted points, industrial sharpening
stones, diamond compounds, or other
products from the North American
specialist supplier Boride Engineered
Abrasives, they need not wait weeks,
or even days, for their order to arrive.
Boride, headquartered in Michigan,
USA, and a leading manufacturer of
bonded abrasive products for the
mould and die industry, is seeking to
be known as much for its global distribution
and world-class service as for
the performance of its products.
Customers increasingly expect die
and mould shops to produce low-cost
tools with short lead times. Boride
and its network of industrial distributors
help make that happen, offering
next-day delivery to manufacturers in
more than 30 countries. The supplier
emphasizes speed, product quality,
and competitive pricing and aims to
enable mould and die shops to fulfill
their customers’ requirements on time
and within budget.
ECTA Conference
Scheduled in Milan
The 2009 European Cutting Tool Conference,
organized by the European
Cutting Tools Association (ECTA),
takes place on October 7 in Milan, in
conjunction with the metalworking
trade fair EMO Milano 2009. Numerous
delegates from Europe and guests
from America and Asia will be attending.
Its international aspect ensures
that the 2009 ECTA conference will
address the global, not merely European,
challenges the cutting tools
industry confronts.
The conference represents an important
networking opportunity for
the industry. Because the sector is
linked with all areas of the global manufacturing
industry through the supply
of cutting tools and holding fix-
experiences from many different industries
will be shared. ECTA expects
that participants will go away with
ideas for getting through the current
economic crisis and securing a promising
future for their businesses.
