4 The Direct Programmer<br />
The Direct Programmer is an auxiliary window, that can be opened separately via the<br />
Direct Programmer command of the View menu.<br />

Experienced users can use the Direct Programmer to exchange decimal, hexadecimal or<br />
binary option values directly with the decoder by bypassing the explorer window. This<br />
feature can also be used to process configuration variables, that are not supported by the<br />
currently selected decoder configuration.<br />
In this way the value of a CV, which is not supported by the standard decoder configuration<br />
(see page 33), can be read or write on the fly without the need to change the decoder<br />
configuration.
