”To live means to experience—through doing, feeling, thinking. Experience takes place
in time, so time is the ultimate scarce resource we have... One of the most essential
decisions any of us can make is about how one’s time is allocated or invested.”
Calibration for Instrumentation,
Metrology and Test Equipment in SAP
Presenter: Phil Gillespie, new Dimension Solutions
Calibration of process instrumentation and M & TE is a key process —
especially in industries with stringent asset management requirements
such as life sciences, nuclear power, food and beverage and chemical
plants. Historically many companies have continued to use third party
products for calibration. This, however, creates usual headaches in
terms of interfaces, multiple system log-ons and enterprise visibility
issues. This workshop explores the functionality in SAP QM and PM
to support this process.
Maintenance Plans
Presenters: Eric Burkhartzmeyer & Rick Weber,
new Dimension Solutions
PHASE ONE: Morning (Beginner/Intermediate)
• Task lists, maintenance items and plans
• Single-cycle plans
• Maintenance strategy plans
• Multiple counter plans
• Contractor plans
• Maintenance plan call objects
PHASE TWO: Afternoon (Intermediate/Expert)
• Maintenance plan scheduling
• Task list/ maintenance plan costing
• RCM and maintenance plans
WORKSHOP 8
Many SAP PM implementations underutilize the abilities of the SAP PM
system. What are some of the main reasons for the underutilization and
how can these issues be addressed? This workshop will examine a typical
implementation flow and highlight the problems that will likely be
encountered, as well as how to overcome these problems. The workshop
will conclude with a model for optimizing an SAP PM system.
