Six lists of import-banned items liberalized by Ministry of Economy
A decision issued by Ministry of Economy allowed all importers to import items
mentioned in six lists, including a list of suspended items, as an exception of the enforced
Import Prohibition/Suspension Provisions.
The most important items stated in the said lists include: cosmetics, textiles,
cardboard containers, postal cards, embroidered wool fabrics, blankets, mushroom,
asparagus, granite, plastic pipes, certain garments and genuine leather, wallpaper,
refrigerators and equipment for ice-cream, manufacturers, washing machines, boilers, all
