Introducing the Limited Réveil GMT
Anniversaire. Blancpain takes the Reveil
and liberally applies a dose of chili, dash of
cayenne and soupcon of jalapeno. This
Anniversary edition features a 5N brushed
red gold case, special black dial with
applied markers and numerals, a highly
flexible and conforming to the wrist rubber
bracelet, and a gold deployant buckle. It is
a Reveil with special pizzazz.
Of course, all of the features of the nonlimited
edition Reveil are replicated in the
Anniversary Edition including two time
zone displays (home time and local time),
an advancing and retarding date display
(which moves forwards and backwards as
the local time is moved through midnight),
an alarm function with a musical large diameter
sounding ring, automatic winding of
both the alarm and main barrel of the base
movement, and an alarm power reserve
display. The movement finishing featuring
blued screws, a solid gold rhodium-plated
18 kt gold winding rotor, hand polished and
finished components and free sprung
balance carries over as well.
Another watch from the celebration of
Blancpain’s 270 years as a manufacture,
this Limited Edition Réveil is available in
only 270 examples, each engraved from
1/270 to 270/270 on the caseback. ■
