Exporting for Deployment<br />

The deployment export comm<strong>and</strong>s create bootfiles <strong>and</strong> exported artifacts for deployment<br />

to other domains. The <strong>Progress</strong> <strong>Sonic</strong> <strong>ESB</strong> Deployment <strong>Guide</strong> provides information on<br />

using these comm<strong>and</strong>s.<br />

Export to a file system path as a file structure.<br />

export archive<br />

export archive targetArchiveFile [sourceArchiveFile | exportPropFile | all]<br />

Export to a <strong>Sonic</strong> archive file.<br />

export bootfile<br />

export bootfile container_config_name [filename]<br />

Create a boot file to use when starting an <strong>ESB</strong> Container. By default a boot file is created<br />

in the current working directory with the name, bootname.xml Optionally, specify a file<br />

name to have the boot file created elsewhere.<br />

Tailoring Archives for Import<br />

The tailoring comm<strong>and</strong>s create intermediate files that are tuned for a target domain so you<br />

can map archives for import into the domain to the characteristics of the target domain.<br />

Create a tailored archive from a source archive <strong>and</strong> a tailoring map file.<br />
