9. On the IVE home page, enter the URL to your external corporate site and click<br />

Browse. The IVE opens the Web page in the same browser window, so use the<br />

browsing toolbar to return to the IVE home page.<br />

10. On the IVE home page, click Browsing > Windows Files to browse available<br />

Windows file shares or Browsing > UNIX/NFS Files to browse available<br />

UNIX/NFS file shares.<br />

After verifying user accessibility, return to the admin console to go through an<br />

introduction of key concepts, as described in “Creating a test scenario to learn IVE<br />

concepts and best practices” on page 5.<br />

The IVE provides a flexible access management system that makes it easy to<br />

customize a user’s remote access experience through the use of roles, resource<br />

policies, authentication servers, authentication realms, and sign-in policies. To<br />

enable you to quickly begin working with these entities, the IVE ships with system<br />

defaults for each. This section describes these system defaults and shows you how<br />

to create each access management entity by performing the following tasks:<br />

� “Defining a resource profile” on page 8<br />

� “Defining an authentication server” on page 10<br />

� “Defining an authentication realm” on page 13<br />
