To tJie Grand Lodge of the State of Illinois, 1. O. O. F.:
Your Committee on Finance would respectfully report as follows:
That we met at the office of the Grand Secretary in the City of
Springfield on the 12th day of May, 1897, and beer to report as follows:
We have made a careful inventory of the stock on hand, and have
checked up the sales of the Grand Secretary's office, and find that
they a^ree with the Secretary's books. We also find net profits on
sales of his office for supplies of $2,361.25.
We have audited all bills of expense, find them correct, with prop
er vouchers, and approve the same. The receipts of the Grand Secre-
tary's office for the past six months from all sources have been $33,-
486.26, which amount is in the hands of the Grand Treasurer, as per
receipts on file in the Grand Secretary's office.
We find all matters coming within the jurisdiction of the Grand
Secretary have been attended to in the usual systematic manner characteristic
of his former work, and receives our hearty approval.

for the term ending March 1st, 1897.
