Eesolved, That we extend to the custodian of Lincoln's Home and
the custodian of the Lincoln Monument our warm appreciation of the
facilities they, and each of them, offered; and because of which we
were enabled to visit and inspect the "Home" and "Monument" of
Lincoln.
Resolved, That we are grateful for the privilege enjoyed by us to
visit the Odd Fellows' Orphans,' Home; to Directors and Superintendent
of the Home for their courtesies during our visit to it on Thursday
last. We saw the orphans happy and their bright smiles shining
amidst the throng of Odd Fellows gatherd there. All thanks to the
brotherhood in Illinois for such a magnificent monument to fraternal
duty.
Besolved, That for the privilege to hold the sessions of this Body
in the majestic Capitol Building of Illinois, in its Eepresentatives'
Hall, and for the use of all rooms requisite to a convenient and successful
session, we, in the name of all our great brotherhood, tender
our gratitude to the State authorities for the courtesy that has
eanbled us to hold our sessions with every convenience at hand, and
free of all disturbance. We thank them.
Resolved, To the Press of this City we give our thanks, and say
to it that the kindly mention of our coming here, and the generous
tribute paid daily by it to our beloved Order, stir all of our emotions
when returning our thanks.
