M I X I N G S O L U T I O N S V4 Orbital Pack The new V4 Orbital surround sound system from KRK allows you to completely surround yourself in quality Hi-FI sound for an easily affordable price. In one complete package you will receive our 5.1 linear system, which includes five V4 monitors and one S8 subwoofer. The V4 has separate amplifiers for both the tweeter (15 Watts) and the woofer (30 Watts), which makes the sound extremely clean and virtually eliminates any distortion. Video shielding is standard, making it an optimum choice for Digital Audio Workstations, or a home theater surround set-up. The S8 subwoofer is powered with 100 watts, and includes an 8" Kevlar woofer, variable low pass filter, phase correction switch, and variable input sensitivity (volume). This unique system provides a wide image and a deep soundstage, offering excellent translation. Now you can have the opportunity to discover what quality audio is all about. 16 KRK Orbital Surround Sound Packages S U R R O U N D S O U N D Everyone’s heading towards 5.1 mixes, whether they’re soundtracks for Dolby Digital (AC-3) or DTS, or music-only to audio DVD. In fact, our customers tell us the move from traditional 2 speaker stereo mixing to surround sound will impact virtually every studio in the near future. Because each studio is unique, KRK offers many different Orbital Surround Sound solutions to fit your space and budget require- ments. With 5.1 surround, the subwoofer’s job is not to improve the low frequency perform- ance of the surround speakers, but to reproduce the LFE (Low Frequency Effects) channel of the 5.1 mix. A full-range signal is sent to the 5 channels, so all speakers should be the same.
