T H E K R K S T O R Y Keith Klawitter, our director of engineering, founded KRK Systems in 1986. He had been an engineer for years working on such films as "Brainstorm" and "The Doors". Frustrated by the inability to find a monitor that could give him clarity and accuracy, he began building his own monitors. Other engineers and producers began to take notice of Keith's high-end studio monitors, a groundswell began and a company was born. The millennium has brought changes and growth to the company. KRK has become one of the most highly respected names in the studio world. Our products have earned an exclusive position along side the most elite audiophile-quality products.
