“work<strong>in</strong>g on a memoir about <strong>the</strong><br />

time we’ve spent apart,” <strong>in</strong> hopes<br />

Alison Kemlitz, her husband,<br />

Josh, and <strong>the</strong>ir son, Zachary, have<br />

moved from Cambridge,<br />

England, to <strong>the</strong> M<strong>in</strong>neapolis–St.<br />

Paul area. Alison is “lov<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong><br />

healthcare field,” and Josh<br />

teaches geology at <strong>the</strong> University<br />

Service takes her to Katmai,<br />

Alagnak, Aniakchak, and Lake<br />

Clark <strong>in</strong> southwestern Alaska.<br />

Brooke Wilkerson (boys camp<br />

staff ’94, ’99, ’00), who is married<br />

to Shale Rosen, studies forest<br />

fragmentation <strong>in</strong> Uganda but is<br />

based <strong>in</strong> Bergen, Norway. She<br />

writes, “We truly would enjoy<br />

hav<strong>in</strong>g <strong>Chewonki</strong> visitors here, so<br />

if you’re itch<strong>in</strong>g to climb some<br />

mounta<strong>in</strong>s, sample some leverpostei<br />

(liver paste), or wear your<br />

ra<strong>in</strong>coat <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> ra<strong>in</strong>iest city <strong>in</strong><br />

Europe, we’d be happy to have<br />

Alumni Club of <strong>the</strong> University of<br />

Michigan’s Ross School of<br />

Bus<strong>in</strong>ess. Heidi Fessenden lives<br />

<strong>in</strong> Boston and is “hav<strong>in</strong>g a great<br />

time teach<strong>in</strong>g second graders<br />

about geology, maps, affordable<br />

hous<strong>in</strong>g, and Boston neighborhoods.”<br />

She leads wilderness<br />

trips, too, and gets to <strong>the</strong> White<br />

Mounta<strong>in</strong>s to hike as often as she<br />

can. Josh Haddock (boys camp<br />

staff ’93, ’94) has been liv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong><br />

Cambridge, England, and<br />

work<strong>in</strong>g for a start-up company,<br />

which is “both excit<strong>in</strong>g and<br />

exhaust<strong>in</strong>g,” he writes. “As I was<br />

writ<strong>in</strong>g this, <strong>the</strong> Sp<strong>in</strong> Doctors’ ‘2<br />

Pr<strong>in</strong>ces’ came on <strong>the</strong> radio. What<br />

are <strong>the</strong> odds?” Taylor Swanson<br />

Holley works on susta<strong>in</strong>able<br />

sourc<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>itiatives for <strong>the</strong> home<br />

division of Walmart. “Never<br />

thought I’d end up <strong>in</strong> Arkansas,”<br />

she writes, “but we really like it.”<br />

earned a master’s degree <strong>in</strong><br />

bus<strong>in</strong>ess adm<strong>in</strong>istration and is<br />

look<strong>in</strong>g for work <strong>in</strong> susta<strong>in</strong>ability<br />

and bus<strong>in</strong>ess strategy while her<br />

husband, Eric, teaches at Brown<br />

Journal. She has spent a lot of<br />

time overseas, especially <strong>in</strong> Hong<br />

Kong. Becky Silverste<strong>in</strong><br />

T<strong>in</strong>sley received a master of<br />

science <strong>in</strong> animals and public<br />

policy from <strong>the</strong> Tufts-Cumm<strong>in</strong>gs<br />

Veter<strong>in</strong>ary School and hopes for a<br />

career <strong>in</strong> ei<strong>the</strong>r animal law or<br />

animal welfare. She and her<br />

husband live <strong>in</strong> Paxton, MA.<br />
