Pressure Washer Rinsing<br />

After detergent is applied, scour the surface and rinse<br />

it clean as foJlows:<br />

1. Apply trigger Jock to spray gun.<br />

2. Make sure both chemical shut-off valves are in<br />

"Off" position.<br />

3. Remove Mack ProjectPro TM cleaning detergent<br />

nozzle from nozzle extension.<br />

4. Select and instaJJdesired ProjectPro TM nozzJe, as<br />

described in "How to Use ProjectPro TM Nozzle<br />

System".<br />

5. Keep spray gun a safe distance from spray<br />

surface.<br />

WARNING<br />

How to Use the Hose Ree_<br />

Your cleaning system is equipped with a hose reel<br />

designed to store the hose when unit is not in use.<br />

See "Prepare Unit for Storage" for long term storage of<br />

more than 30 days.<br />

After each use:<br />

1. Disconnect hose from spray gun and high<br />

<strong>pressure</strong> outlet on pump.<br />

2. Drain water from hose.<br />

3. SJide one end of hose into hoJe on hose reel. Turn<br />

hose reeJ with handle to coil hose onto reel<br />

Keep spray nozzle between 8 to 24 inches away from<br />

cleaning surface,<br />

Operate this unit on a stable surface,<br />

Be extremely careful if you must use the <strong>pressure</strong><br />

<strong>washer</strong> from a ladder, scaffolding or any other relatively<br />

unstable location,<br />

Firmly grasp spray gun with both hands when using high<br />

<strong>pressure</strong> spray to avoid injury if gun kicks back.<br />

6. Apply a high <strong>pressure</strong> spray to a small area and<br />

then check the surface for damage, if no damage,<br />

proceed to step 7.<br />

7. Start at top of area to be rinsed, working down<br />

with same overJapping strokes used for cleaning.<br />

iMPORTANT: DO NOT use your cleaning system with<br />

the hose coiled onto the hose reel The hose reeJ is for<br />

storage purposes only.<br />

Automatic Coo_ Down System<br />

(Therma_ Relief)<br />

If you run the engine on your <strong>pressure</strong> <strong>washer</strong> for<br />

3-5 minutes without pressing the trigger on the spray<br />

gun, circuJating water in the pump can reach<br />

temperatures above 125°F. The system engages to<br />

cool the pump by discharging the warm water onto<br />

the ground.<br />
