SCHOOL FEES
A fee is collected from each student to pay for workbooks. All fees are expected to be
paid by the first month of school. Personal checks will not be accepted after May 1 st .
INSURANCE
Student insurance is made available through a group insurance plan and is optional to all
students. If you want the accident insurance please fill out the form that is sent home from
the office. Make checks payable to the name indicated on the instructions. If you do not
want insurance please fill in the child’s name, sign your name, mark the box, “do not want”
and return the form to school. We must have a signed slip on file for each child indicating
whether the child the child”is, or is not” to be covered by accident insurance.
TEXTBOOKS AND SUPPLIES
Student textbooks and supplementary books are provided to each student by the school
district. Books are expensive. Students are expected to be responsible for the proper care
of the books that are issued. Students will be assessed for lost and damaged books. The
school business office will determined the cost of the replacement. Each student received a
supply list with their last quarter report card. Students are expected to bring their supplies
to school on first day of school. Please label all supplies with student’s full name and
replenish throughout the school year.
SCHOOL PROPERTY
Our school and its surroundings are to be treated with care and respect at all times.
Woodland is a reflection of those in it and we want to be attractive and inviting at all times.
Students are expected to treat the school and its contents with respect. As a result, we
expect that all students will adhere to the following:
Keep a tidy and clean classroom at all times.
Keeps desks and surrounding spaces neat and tidy.
Do not use or take another child’s belongings without permission.
Do not vandalize or mark the schools structure (walls, doors, lavatories, etc) at any
time.
Do not vandalize or mark equipment or materials (chairs, computers, books, desks,
tables, etc.) at any time.
Take care of borrowed books and other materials and return them on time.
Do not litter inside or outside the school.
Take pride in your school and community by picking up any trash and disposing of it
properly at all times.
SCHOOL PICTURES
Student pictures will be taken early in the fall. Each student will have his/her picture taken
whether or not they plan on purchasing a packet. Athletic/sport groups, are taken in the in
the spring. Only students purchasing a picture package will be photograph at this time.
You may purchase any of these pictures of your child.
