SCHOOL FEES<br />
A fee is collected from each student to pay for workbooks. All fees are expected to be<br />
paid by the first month of <strong>school</strong>. Personal checks will not be accepted after May 1 st .<br />
INSURANCE<br />
Student insurance is made available through a group insurance plan and is optional to all<br />
students. If you want the accident insurance please fill out the form that is sent home from<br />
the office. Make checks payable to the name indicated on the instructions. If you do not<br />
want insurance please fill in the child’s name, sign your name, mark the box, “do not want”<br />
and return the form to <strong>school</strong>. We must have a signed slip on file for each child indicating<br />
whether the child the child”is, or is not” to be covered by accident insurance.<br />
TEXTBOOKS AND SUPPLIES<br />
Student textbooks and supplementary books are provided to each student by the <strong>school</strong><br />
<strong>district</strong>. Books are expensive. Students are expected to be responsible for the proper care<br />
of the books that are issued. Students will be assessed for lost and damaged books. The<br />
<strong>school</strong> business office will determined the cost of the replacement. Each student received a<br />
supply list with their last quarter report card. Students are expected to bring their supplies<br />
to <strong>school</strong> on first day of <strong>school</strong>. Please label all supplies with student’s full name and<br />
replenish throughout the <strong>school</strong> year.<br />
SCHOOL PROPERTY<br />
Our <strong>school</strong> and its surroundings are to be treated with care and respect at all times.<br />
Woodland is a reflection of those in it and we want to be attractive and inviting at all times.<br />
Students are expected to treat the <strong>school</strong> and its contents with respect. As a result, we<br />
expect that all students will adhere to the following:<br />
Keep a tidy and clean classroom at all times.<br />
Keeps desks and surrounding spaces neat and tidy.<br />
Do not use or take another child’s belongings without permission.<br />
Do not vandalize or mark the <strong><strong>school</strong>s</strong> structure (walls, doors, lavatories, etc) at any<br />
time.<br />
Do not vandalize or mark equipment or materials (chairs, computers, books, desks,<br />
tables, etc.) at any time.<br />
Take care of borrowed books and other materials and return them on time.<br />

Do not litter inside or outside the <strong>school</strong>.<br />
Take pride in your <strong>school</strong> and community by picking up any trash and disposing of it<br />
properly at all times.<br />
SCHOOL PICTURES<br />
Student pictures will be taken early in the fall. Each student will have his/her picture taken<br />
whether or not they plan on purchasing a packet. Athletic/sport groups, are taken in the in<br />
the spring. Only students purchasing a picture package will be photograph at this time.<br />
You may purchase any of these pictures of your child.<br />
