In addition, the general safetynotes in the enclosed booklet must be observed.Before using for the first time, ask for a practicaldemonstration.The unit must not be damp and must notbe used in a wet environment.Wear hearing protection. Exposure tonoise can cause hearing loss.Before each use of the machine, checkthe machine, cable and plug. Haverepairs carried out only through theWürth Master-Service or by a qualifiedtechnician. Insert the plug into the socketonly when the machine is switched off.❏ When working with the machine, always hold itfirmly with both hands and provide for a securestance. The power tool is guided more secure withboth hands.❏ Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped withclamping devices or in a vice is held more securelythan by hand.❏ Do not work materials containing asbestos.Asbestos is considered carcinogenic.❏ Always wait until the machine has come to acomplete stop before placing it down. The toolinsert can jam and lead to loss of control over thepower tool.❏ Hold the machine with a firm grip. High reactiontorque can briefly occur while driving in and looseningscrews.❏ Do not use a machine with a damaged mainscable. Do not touch the damaged cable and pullthe mains plug when the cable is damaged whileworking. Damaged cables increase the risk of anelectric shock.❏ Connect machines that are used in the open via aresidual current device (RCD).❏ Use suitable detectors to determine if utility linesare hidden in the work area or call the local utilitycompany for assistance.Contact with electric lines can lead to fire and electricshock. Damaging a gas line can lead to explosion.Penetrating a water line causes propertydamage or may cause an electric shock.❏ Hold the machine only by the insulated grippingsurfaces, when performing an operation wherethe cutting tool may run into hidden wiring.
