PREMIÈRE PARTIE. CHAPITRE XXXI. 127 Toici que du Cœur divin, où sont cachés les trésors de toute béatitude, sortit un triple lien semblable à une chaîne d or. Après avoir traversé le cœur très aimant de la Vierge Mère, ce lien passa à travers le cœur de toutes les vierges jusqu'à ce que de la dernière de ces saintes, il revînt pénétrer dans le Cœur du Seigneur lui-même. Cette mélodie céleste donnait à entendre qu'il, n'est aucune action, si petite soit-elle, accomplie sur terre comme louange, action de grâces, prière, acte ou parole, voire même comme simple pensée, dont la résonance ne soit éternelle pour louer Dieu et ac- croître la gloire et la joie des bienheureux. Le triple lien sorti du divin Cœur lui parut donc signifier l'amour de l'adorable Trinité, c est-à-dire du Père, du Fils et du Saint-Esprit, qui, par l'intermédiaire de la très digne Mère de Dieu, Marie, pénètre les cœurs amoureux des vierges d'une suavité spéciale, afin de 1.
