GENERAL INFORMATION
DEFINITION OF MACHINE SERIES AND CODES
• CED series vertical precision air-conditioning units used for standard applications.
• CEM series vertical precision air-conditioning units used for standard and for special applications.
• CEW series chilled water precision air-conditioning units.
1.1 IDENTIFICATION
15... - size of the unit (standard unit is DOWNFLOW)
/A - indicates the unit is UPFLOW
CONF. - indicates the configuration of the unit
CONF. SERIES DESCRIPTION
1 CED, CEM water-cooled version with plate condenser and compressor in the indoor unit, open circuit
2 CED, CEM air-cooled version with compressor in the indoor unit and remote air-cooled condenser
3 CED, CEM water-cooled split version with compressor and water-cooled condenser as outdoor unit
4 CED, CEM air-cooled split version with compressor and air-cooled condenser as outdoor unit
5 CEW chilled water version
6 CED, CEM glycol & water-cooled version with compressor and plate condenser within the indoor unit
(closed circuit)
7 CEM “Dual Cool” units with two cooling systems, chilled water and also direct expansion
8 CEM “Cool Recovery” units with free-cooling capabilities in mid-season and winter
9 CEM heat pump units
HR CEM units with desuperheater for the production of hot sanitary water
The units belonging to the above configurations can be equipped with the following accessories:
- electrode steam humidifier
- one or more stage electric heaters
- hot water coil
- hot gas coil (only on CED, CEW and CEM in config. 1 & 2)
- fresh air intake
- low ambient kit to control condenser fan speed (config. 2 & 4)
- Electronic temperature and relative humidity microprocessor control (see description and instructions in relevant
manual).
