11 Guarantee<br />
Dear Customer,<br />
Thank you for choosing a product from our company. The name <strong>Wella</strong> has stood<br />
for certified quality and first-class service for decades. We offer our customers<br />
innovative, high-performance products which are designed primarily for<br />
professional use. We ensure a constantly high standard of production by means of<br />
extensive quality assurance measures.<br />
2 Years‘ Guarantee<br />
The use of high-quality materials and careful workmanship are a guarantee of the<br />
tested <strong>Wella</strong> quality. As the manufacturer, we provide a guarantee period of two<br />
years from the date of purchase on our products for all defects which result from<br />
material or manufacturing flaws.<br />
If, contrary to expectations, a defect occurs in this appliance during this period, we<br />
promise that the appliance will, at our discretion, either be repaired or replaced<br />
by a defect-free appliance. This guarantee can be performed only upon submission<br />
of the original invoice or the purchase receipt.<br />
Any damage resulting from improper use or normal wear and tear is excepted<br />
from the guarantee. The guarantee expires immediately if unauthorised persons<br />
work on the appliance or if third-party products are used during installation.<br />
Defects which have only a minor effect on the value and usability of the product<br />
do not fall under the guarantee.<br />
Wearing parts<br />
The air filter is a wearing part excluded from the guarantee.<br />
Your contractual and statutory claims against the seller are not affected by this<br />
manufacturer‘s guarantee. In the event that a guarantee claim arises, please<br />
contact the authorized <strong>Wella</strong> service centre closest to you.<br />
<strong>Wella</strong> Customer Service<br />
Our products have been tested for reliability. If a defect should occur in spite of<br />
this, our Customer Service will be glad to help. Before calling the Customer Service,<br />
try to eliminate the problem with the help of the section "Errors and possible<br />
rectification" in the operating instructions. If the appliance still does not function<br />
trouble-free, your national Customer Service Centre will be glad to help.<br />
Help us to speed up processing of your enquiry: please provide us the following<br />
information from the Service Card of the appliance:<br />
• What appliance is defective (appliance model)?<br />
• What is the serial number of the appliance?<br />
• When was the appliance purchased? (purchase date)<br />
• Describe the failure or defect to us.<br />

Important! You will find a Service Card on the back page of these operating<br />
instructions. In the event of a guaranty claim or if you have any question about<br />
the appliance, please already fill in following data to help the Customer Service<br />
Center:<br />
• Purchase date<br />
• Serial number<br />
You can find the Serial number on the type plate (see “Figure 1” page 39).<br />
Keep the purchase receipt as proof of date of purchase in a safe place.<br />

Service Centre at www.wella.com. Please note that repairs not covered by the<br />
guarantee will be at your expense.<br />
