Il répond à la promesse “d’expérience surprenante” faite par l’aéroport. Il ? Ce requin XXL de 11 mètres<br />
de long, suspendu dans les airs du patio du Terminal 1. Elégant et aérien, il est en bois de peuplier<br />
tressé ; son montage a nécessité deux semaines de travail in situ et c’est le tandem Amélie Lengrand et<br />
Sophie Paumelle, alias Laps, qui l’a imaginé. Présentée en partenariat avec le Musée océanographique<br />
de Monaco, cette “surprise” saura également redorer l’image de cette espèce menacée.<br />
He certainly lives up to the airport's promise of a "surprising experience". But who is he? An 11 metre-long<br />
XXL shark, suspended in the air on the Terminal 1 patio! Elegant and ethereal, he is made of woven polar<br />
wood. He took two weeks to build on site and was dreamt up by talented designer duo Amélie Lengrand<br />
and Sophie Paumelle, AKA "LAPS". Created in partnership with the Monaco Oceanographic Museum, this<br />
"surprise" also aims to also regild the image of this endangered species.<br />
