millésime 2016 fait valoir
plusieurs nouveautés. Et tout
d’abord son design ; elle
adopte une nouvelle calandre
“single frame” à l’image de
sa silhouette plus acérée,
plus large et plus agressive,
tandis que les « side blades »
sont personnalisables. Dans
son habitacle, l’affichage
entièrement digital Audi
Virtual Cockpit s’intègre
dans le poste de conduite
tourné vers le conducteur.
Côté motorisation enfin,
elle bénéficie d’un nouveau
châssis 40 % plus rigide et
15 % plus léger, et embarque
unV10 de 5,2 litres qui
développe 540 ch sur la
version V10 et 610 ch sur la
version V10 Plus.

Since 2007, the four-ring
supercar has responded
to critics, many of whom
disparaged its sanitised
character, with dazzling
commercial success: 27,000
cars sold worldwide. To take
on the berlinetta line-up like
Ferrari, the Porsche 911
Turbo and the Lamborghini
Huracàn, the 2016 vintage
of the R8 V10 boasts several
new features. The most
conspicuous is its design: it
has a new singleframe grille
to go with its wider, more
aggressive, more streamlined
silhouette, while the
sideblades are customisable.
Inside, the fully digital display
of the Audi Virtual Cockpit is
placed directly in front of the
driver. Performance-wise, it
has a new chassis that’s 40%
stiffer and 15% lighter, along
with a 5.2-litre V10 that puts
out 540 horsepower for the
standard V10, with the V10
Plus version rated at 610
horsepower.
