Haïtien, l’architecture coloniale et les monuments sont rois !<br />
Citons notamment le palais Sans-<br />
Souci de Milot et la citadelle Laferrière,<br />
majestueux. Et nous voilà dans le<br />
parc national historique répertorié<br />
par l’UNESCO depuis 1982 ! Ici, les<br />
pics rocheux en imposent ! Une fois à<br />
Labadie, célèbre station balnéaire du<br />
pays, nous profitons des plaisirs de la<br />
mer : snorkeling, bronzage et virées en bateau jusqu’aux<br />
ilets voisins. Dans les alentours, nous nous arrêtons aussi au<br />
musée d’art arawak de Guahaba.<br />

To the North ~ In Cap-Haitien, colonial<br />
architecture and monuments are king! Not to be missed<br />
are Sans-Souci de Milot Palace and<br />
the majestic Laferrière Citadel. The<br />
whole, located atop a rocky peak, is<br />
referred to as the National History<br />
Park, and was added to UNESCO’s<br />
World Heritage List in 1982. In nearby<br />
Labadie, the country’s famed seaside<br />
resort city, the pleasures of the sea<br />
await: snorkeling, swimming, and boating to nearby islets.<br />
In the same area, head over to the Guahaba Museum to<br />
admire Arawak art.<br />
