GUYANE, A NEW KIND OF SERIES
Dès janvier 2017, découvrez l’aventure « Guyane » (8 épisodes de 52
minutes), la nouvelle série originale de Canal+ écrite et créée par
Fabien Nury et produite en collaboration avec Mascaret Films.
Beginning in January 2017, Canal+ will be airing its newest original
series, « Guyane »(8 episodes, 52 minutes, in French), written and created
by Fabien Nury and produced in collaboration with Mascaret Films.
Un scénario initiatique ~ Faire vivre un site
illégal d’orpaillage. Puis, développer une sorte de
"chaîne alimentaire" de l’or clandestin, sous l’angle de
vue d’un stagiaire arrivant tout juste de métropole.
Voilà la trame de cette nouvelle série d’aventure
intégralement tournée en Guyane, département
chargé de fantasmes. Un terrain de jeu idéal, a confié le
scénariste Fabien Nury qui aime passer du roman
criminel urbain au western ou encore à la folie
amazonienne, simplement en suivant ses personnages.
Une aventure humaine : ~ Il y a d’abord le
clan Serra : Antoine (O. Rabourbin), parrain de cette
mafia locale, colon aventurier prenant son pied à
survivre dans la jungle ; Vincent Ogier (M. Spinosi),
20 ans, étudiant assez culotté de l’École des mines de
Paris, contraint de faire un stage chez Cayenor en
Guyane ; Louis (I. Sawadogo) ; Nathalie Berg (A.

Bring to life a clandestine gold mine site. Then create
a 'distribution chain’ of sorts for illegally mined gold.
And film from the perspective of a geology student
from metropolitan France. That’s the premise of a new
adventure series filmed entirely in French Guiana, a
part of France that still ignites the imagination. “An ideal
playground,” confides the scriptwriter, Fabien Nury, who
loves switching from urban crime drama to western
to documentary on the Amazon, just by following his
characters.

The list of characters: Antoine Serra (played by O.
Rabourbin), the local crime lord, an adventure-seeking
settler savoring survival in the jungle; Vincent Ogier (M.
Spinosi), the foolhardy 20-year-old grad student who finds
himself working at Cayenor, a gold mining firm in French
