Le Start-Up Contest et 

le Prix de l’Innovation 

Logistique de nouveau en 

lice pour la SITL 2021 

Le mardi 14 septembre, les membres du jury, 

composé de professionnels du Transport, de 

la Logistique et de la Supply Chain, révéleront 

l’identité des lauréats de la 6 e édition du Start-Up 

Contest et de la 21 e édition des Prix de l’Innovation. 

L’attribution des récompenses est l’un des moments 

forts de la SITL. 

2021 marque la 21 e édition des Prix de 

l’Innovation, dont le jury est composé de 

grands décideurs de l’industrie et de la 

distribution, tous membres du Club Marco 

Polo de la SITL. 

Les candidats se répartissent en 8 

catégories: Services Transport et Logistique, 

Intralogistique Robotique & Automatisation, 

Immobilier & Infrastructures Logistiques, 

Technologies IoT & Systèmes d’Information, 

Energie & Equipements de Transports,

of the sixth edition of the Start-Up Contest and the 

21 st edition of the Innovation Awards. The presenting 

of the awards is one of the highlights of the SITL. 

The Start-up Contest rewards the innovations of 

start-ups in the transport and logistics sectors. 

It reflects the dynamics and creativity of young 

entrepreneurs. The Start-up Contest is thus a 

springboard for the emergence of new talents. 

The eight members of the jury are at their disposal 

to advise and encourage them to develop their 

innovation. 

Two trophies are awarded: the Jury Prize, given by 

leading decision-makers in logistics, supply chain 

and retail; and the Public Prize, resulting from the 

SMS votes of visitors to the SITL.

Rendez-vous incontournable des acteurs de la logistique, 

des transferts et de la supply, le salon s’insère, contexte 

sanitaire oblige, dans un calendrier inédit mais s’appuie 

toujours sur une multitude de points forts et un savoir-faire 

reconnu qui construisent sa renommée année après année. 

La SITL s’ouvre dans un contexte 

particulier. Quel message 

souhaitez-vous transmettre à 

l’industrie du transport et de la 

logistique ? 

Je souhaite faire passer un 

message d’optimisme, une envie 

de rencontres, la nécessité de 

se revoir pour faire du business 

dans de bonnes conditions. Il y a 

une vraie appétence du marché à 

vouloir se retrouver sur ce grand 

rendez-vous. Je veux surtout 

remercier nos clients, le marché, 

l’écosystème qui font confiance à 

cette belle marque. 

Quel a été le plus grand challenge 

dans l’organisation de cette 

édition ? 

Nos équipes ont fait un travail 

extraordinaire. Un salon de 

cette taille réclame un an de 

travail. Les challenges ont 

été multiples : opérationnel 

en repensant notre façon de 

travailler, commercial en restant 

proche du marché, digital pour 

apporter une valeur ajoutée et 

garder les connexions logistiques 

à travers un événement digital 

en 2020 (avec plus de 5000 

professionnels). Une très belle 

édition s’annonce. Le dernier 

challenge concerne la mise en 

place des process sanitaires. On a 

une certification Apave, on pourra 

faire du business dans de bonnes 

conditions, de manière sécurisée. 

On se doit d’affirmer ces process 

sanitaires et de confirmer les 

fondamentaux. Back to business. 

C’est ce que veulent nos clients, 

ravis de se retrouver. Rien ne vaut 

une discussion en face à face. 

Notre industrie a été relativement 

résiliente pendant la crise. Quel 

retour avez-vous eu des acteurs 

du marché ? 

Dès le début de la crise, le secteur 

du transport, de la logistique et 

de la supply a fait preuve d’une 

certaine résilience. La logistique a 

joué un rôle clé dans la gestion de 

la pandémie qui a mis en exergue 

ce secteur un peu méconnu, 

voire boudé. La résilience a 

été importante à travers le 

développement des ventes via 

le e-commerce, la croissance du 

chiffre d’affaires, en 2020, sur le 

retail dans les grandes enseignes. 

Cette résilience se traduit par 

un nombre d’exposants en 

croissance, 7 à 8% de plus que 

lors de la dernière édition. Une 

très belle performance. 

Quels sont les points forts de 

cette SITL ? 

Le pavillon 1 de la Porte de 

Versailles est rempli. Cela conforte 

notre stratégie multicibles, nous 

qui couvrons la quasi-totalité 

de la chaîne de valeurs de la 

logistique. Le deuxième point 

fort réside dans la variété des 

thématiques des conférences 

et tables rondes, pertinentes et 

tenant compte de l’actualité. De 

nombreux clients vont encore 

plus faire la part belle aux 

innovations, aux démonstrations. 

Un autre point fort émane de 

nos clients qui travaillent de 

manière très sérieuse, anticipent, 

et préparent cette SITL pour 

qu’elle soit réussie et qu’il y ait 

un bon retour sur investissement. 

L’excellence opérationnelle 

fera de ce salon une réussite 

collective. Enfin, notre comité 

stratégique est uniquement 

composé de grands acheteurs, 

de directeurs logistiques, ce qui 

améliore et modernise chaque 

année la SITL. On aura le plaisir 

d’accueillir le Ministre Délégué

The SITL VILLAGES are real 

immersive spaces that focus on 

a theme, an inherent problem of 

transport and logistics or also new 

technologies. 

A must-attend event for logistics, transfer and supply players, 

the show is placed, due to the sanitary situation, on a unique 

schedule. But it is always based on a multitude of strengths 

and recognised know-how that build its fame year after 

year. As the SITL opens in a particular context, we asked Mr 

Desplanques what message he could like to convey to the

This year’s SITL opens in a 

particular context. What message 

would you like to send out to the 

transport and logistics industry? 

I want to convey a message of 

optimism, a desire for meetings, 

the need to meet again to do 

business in good conditions. 

There’s a real appetite in the 

market towards meeting at this 

great “rendez-vous”. Above all, I 

want to thank our customers, the 

market, and the ecosystem that 

trust this great brand. 

What was the biggest challenge 

in organising this edition? 

Our teams have done an 

extraordinary job. A show of 

this size requires a year’s work. 

The challenges were multiple: 

operational - by rethinking our 

way of working, commercial - 

by staying close to the market, 

digital - to bring added value 

and keep logistics connections 

through a digital event in 

2020 (with more than 5,000 

professionals). It should be a very 

good edition. The last challenge 

concerns the implementation of 

sanitary processes. We have an 

Apave certification, so we can do 

business in good conditions, in a 

secure way. We must affirm these 

health processes and confirm the 

fundamentals. Back to business 

- that’s what our customers 

want. They’re happy to be back 

together. There’s nothing like a 

face-to-face discussion. 

Our industry was relatively 

resilient during the crisis. What 

feedback have you had from 

market players? 

From the beginning of the crisis, 

the transport, logistics and supply 

sector has shown a certain 

resilience. Logistics played a key 

role in the management of the 

pandemic, which highlighted 

this sector, which is somewhat 

unknown or even ignored. 

Resilience has been important 

through the development of 

sales through e-commerce, with 

revenue growth in 2020 in major 

retail brands. This resilience 

translates into a growing number 

of exhibitors, 7 to 8% more than 

in the last edition. A very good 

performance. 

What are the strengths of this 

SITL? 

Pavilion 1 of the Porte de 

Versailles is full. This supports 

our multi-target strategy, as we 

cover almost the entire logistics 

value chain. The second strong 

point is the variety of themes of 

the conferences and round tables, 

relevant and taking into account 

current events. Many customers 

will give even more prominence to 

innovations and demonstrations. 

Another strong point comes 

from our clients who work very 

seriously, anticipate, and prepare 

this SITL to be successful and to 

have a good return on investment. 

Operational excellence will make 

this show a collective success. 

Finally, our strategic committee 

is composed solely of major 

buyers, logistics managers, and 

they improve and modernise the 

SITL every year. We will have 

the pleasure of welcoming the 

Minister Delegate for Transport

de transport des vaccins anti-covid. La pandémie a ainsi mis en 

exergue l’impact des réglementations relatives aux transports 

sous températures dirigées. 

Si les méthodes de suivi et de 

documentation du respect de la 

chaîne du froid sont similaires 

dans la logistique pharmaceutique 

et alimentaire, les lois changent 

selon les produits transportés. Elles 

obligent les entreprises à rédiger des 

rapports exhaustifs et coûteux sur 

leur suivi.

8. Nouveaux espaces de rendez-vous 

et salles de conférences 

Les espaces sont aménagés pour permettre des 

rencontres en face-à-face tout en respectant les 

mesures de distanciation physique. 

9. Restauration sur place 

La disposition des tables respecte la distance 

physique, 2 m entre chaque table et 10 personnes 

max. par table. Les contrôles sanitaires sont 

renforcés et le personnel formé aux mesures 

sanitaires. 

10. Prise en charge des personnes 

présentant des symptômes COVID 

Une antenne médicale est présente sur toute la 

durée de l’évènement. Les personnes en suspicion de 

COVID-19 seront isolées et prises en charge par les 

services de santé adéquats.

All of our events have or will obtain their «Safe & Clean» label from Apave 

Certification, a third-party certification body independent of the Apave Group.

The Safe & Clean label attests to the proper implementation of health measures 

facing the Covid-19 risk. 

Guided by the French Government, the World Health Organization (WHO) 

health measures and the RX COVID Management Plan, our actions are subject 

to change overtime in accordance with associated recommendations. 

1. Sanitary pass 

Per application of current French sanitary regulations, 

access to our events for all participants will be subject 

to the presentation of a valid sanitary pass* attesting to 

one of the three types of proof below: 

1. A vaccination certificate attesting to a complete 

vaccination program using a vaccine against covid-19 

authorised by the European Commission: 

- Janssen Vaccine: 28 days after administration of the 

single dose 

- Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines: 7 days 

after the administration of a second dose, except for 

people who have been infected with Covid-19, for 

whom this period runs after the administration of the 

initial dose. 

2. Proof of a negative test of less than 72 hours 

(RT-PCR, antigen or self-test carried out under the 

supervision of authorized health professionals). 

3. The result of a positive RT-PCR or antigen test 

attesting to recovery from Covid-19, dating at least 11 

days and no more than 6 months. 

These certificates are encoded and signed in the form 

of a QR Code. They can be presented in paper or digital 

format.

Spaces will be reorganised to enable face-to-face 

meetings while following social distancing measures. 

9. On-site food services 

Tables will be arranged to follow social distancing 

measures, with 2 m between each table and no more 

than 10 people per table. 

10. Management of individuals with 

COVID symptoms 

A medical team will be present for the duration 

of the event. Suspected COVID-19 cases will be 

isolated and handled by suitable health professionals.
