For students from Luxembourg, Sweden is most interesti ng
for master or exchange programs, since many undergraduate
courses are taught in Swedish. For EU citi zens, there are in
generally no tuiti on fees charged at Swedish universiti es.
Concerning post graduate educati on, the research performed
in Swedish insti tuti ons and universiti es is highly competi ti ve
and the conditi ons for PhD students are quite favorable.
Lund and Uppsala are the two oldest student citi es in Sweden,
where the traditi onal Nati ons provide a unique atmosphere
for the buzzing student life. Nati ons are student unions,
which historically teamed up by region of origin. Nowadays,
everybody can join any Nati on and take advantage of all kinds
of social acti viti es, ranging from social acti viti es, such as dinners
and trips, to parti es.
Higher educati on in Stockholm started only in 19th century,
but today, Stockholm has plenty of universiti es and is home
to more than 80,000 students. Nati ons do not exist in Stockholm,
but with all the cultural and social att racti ons, the city
doesn’t lack entertainment.
Except for these three known student citi es, there exist more
than thirty other universiti es spread all around Sweden. Some
