Ada tiga pendekatan dalam
penghitungan PDRB, yaitu produksi,
pengeluaran, dan pendapatan.
Pendekatan Produksi menghitung nilai
tambah yang dihasilkan tiap sektor produksi
dengan cara mengurangi nilai total output
dengan biaya antara yang dikeluarkan untuk
menghasilkannya.
Nilai tambah tersebut masih
merupakan nilai bruto karena didalamnya
masih termasuk nilai penyusutan barang
modal dan nilai pajak tak langsung neto.
Ditinjau dari pendekatan produksi,
kegiatan ekonomi dapat dikelompokan dalam
sembilan sektor yaitu:
1. Pertanian, Perkebunan, Peternakan,
Perikanan, dan Kehutanan,
2. Pertambangan dan Penggalian
3. Industri Pengolahan
4. Listrik, Gas, dan Air Bersih
5. Konstruksi
6. Perdagangan, Hotel, dan Restoran
7. Pengangkutan dan Komunikasi
8. Keuangan, Persewaan dan Jasa
Perusahaan
9. Jasa-jasa.
Pendekatan Pengeluaran menghitung
PDRB dengan menjumlahkan seluruh
permintaan akhir yang terdiri dari konsumsi
rumah tangga dan lembaga nirlaba,
konsumsi pemerintah, pembentukan modal
tetap domestik bruto, perubahan stok dan
ekspor neto.
Pendekatan Pendapatan menghitung
PDRB sebagai penjumlahan dari balas jasa
faktor produksi (seperti kompensasi pekerja,
sewa, penyusutan, bunga, dan keuntungan).
There are three approaches can be
done to calculate GRDP; those are
productional, expenditure, and income.
In productionial approach, the added
value of each economic sector is obtained by
substracting the intermediate costs from their
corresponding total output.
This added value is still a gross value
because it includes the depreciation value of
fixed capital and the net value of indirect
taxes.
From the productional view, economic
activities can be classified into nine sectors:
1. Agriculture, Estate/Plantations, Live
stocks, Fishery, and Forestry.
2. Mining and Quarrying
3. Manufacturing
4. Electricity, Gas, and Water Supply
5. Construction
6. Trade, Hotel and Restaurant
7. Transport and Communication
8. Bank, Real estate and Business
Services
9. Services
The Expenditure approach calculates
GRDP as the total expenditure of final
demand. It consists of the consumption value
of household and non-profit private institution;
the value of government consumption; the
gross value of fixed capital formation, the
value of change in inventory, and the net
value of export-import.
The Income approach counts up the
remuneration of productional factors (such as
mployee compensations, rents, depreciation
of fixed capital, interests, and profit).
