Johansson e malattia <strong>di</strong> Sever con s<strong>in</strong>tomi <strong>in</strong>validanti e<br />
scheletro ormai giunto a completa maturazione. Nei pazienti<br />
con malattia <strong>di</strong> Freiberg e frammenti articolari<br />
“liberi” occorre valutare l’opportunità <strong>di</strong> <strong>in</strong>terventi <strong>di</strong><br />
pulizia articolare. Nei pazienti <strong>in</strong> cui si sospetta una malattia<br />
<strong>di</strong> Köhler e che hanno recentemente presentato<br />
malattie, traumi, oppure un aumento dei markers dell’<strong>in</strong>fiammazione<br />
lo specialista deve valutare la presenza<br />
<strong>di</strong> <strong>in</strong>fezioni o <strong>di</strong> fratture occulte. Lo specialista deve<br />
<strong>in</strong>tervenire anche nei pazienti con apofisite dell’epicon<strong>di</strong>lo<br />
me<strong>di</strong>ale o con malattia <strong>di</strong> Panner, con una storia<br />
<strong>di</strong> traumi acuti, <strong>dolore</strong> malgrado <strong>di</strong>verse settimane <strong>di</strong><br />
riposo, frammenti articolari “liberi”. Vanno sottoposti<br />
ad una valutazione specialistica anche tutti i pazienti <strong>in</strong><br />
cui si sospetta una malattia <strong>di</strong> Legg-Calvé-Perthes o una<br />
malattia <strong>di</strong> Scheuermann.<br />
Un riassunto delle <strong>in</strong><strong>di</strong>cazioni per la <strong>di</strong>agnosi, il trattamento<br />
e l’<strong>in</strong>vio ad uno specialista dei pazienti affetti<br />
dalle <strong>di</strong>verse malattie osteocondrosiche viene presentato<br />
<strong>in</strong> Tabella 1.<br />
