Ötzi ein Feldthurner?
Der Mann aus dem Eis, bekannt als „Ötzi“,
lebte in der Kupferzeit, um 3300 v. Chr. In
derselben Epoche, aber ca. 700 Jahre später,
wurde der megalithische Platz von Feldthurns
angelegt.
Die Meldung, Ötzi sei Feldthurner gewesen,
beruht auf den Untersuchungen des
Zahnschmelzes. Sie besagen nämlich, er
habe die Kindheit auf Gneis- und Phylittböden
verbracht, wie sie im unteren Eisacktal,
Pustertal im unteren Vinschgau und um
Meran vorkommen.
Ganz ausschließen kann man also die Anwesenheit
Ötzis in Feldthurns nicht, Funde aus
dieser Zeit fehlen jedoch.
Ötzi era di Velturno?
L’uomo venuto dal ghiaccio, affettuosamente
chiamato Ötzi, visse nell’età del
Rame, intorno al 3300 a. C.; l’area megalitica
di Velturno fu allestita nello stesso
periodo storico, ma 700 anni più tardi.
L’idea che Ötzi potesse essere originario
di Velturno è basata sulle analisi del suo
smalto dentale, le quali starebbero ad
indicare che egli abbia passato l’infanzia
in zone caratterizzate geologicamente da
fillade e gneiss, rocce presenti sia nella
bassa valle d’Isarco, che in Val Pusteria,
in bassa Val Venosta e nei dintorni di
Merano. Per questo motivo non possiamo
escludere definitivamente che Ötzi possa
essere vissuto a Velturno, anche se dobbiamo
ammettere che qui mancano ancora
reperti databili all’epoca in cui visse.
Did Ötzi come from Velturno?
The Iceman, also known as „Ötzi“, lived
during the Copper Age, around 3300 B.C.
During that era, but around 700 years
later, the megalithic structure of Velturno
was built.
The headline which claimed that the Iceman
had been from Velturno was based
on the examinations of his tooth enamel.
These leave us to believe that he spent his
childhood on gneiss and phyllite grounds,
as can be found in the lower Isarco Valley,
the Pusteria Valley, the lower Venosta valley
and the area around Merano.
It cannot be excluded that Ötzi might have
come from Velturno, however, there are,
no findings to substantiate this claim.
