RECALLING SUMMER
RICORDANDO L’ESTATE
An autumn issue rich in ideas and contents. I thank my collaborators
who are always energetic and proactive. We set off from
Bolgheri with the presentation of Musem, the Sensorial and
Multimedia Wine Museum designed by the great Dante Ferretti, scenographer
and three-time Oscar winner. Still talking about wine we
go through Maremma to Val delle Rose Estate in search of their cultural
artistic summer programme. Still on the same topic, do not miss
“behind the scenes” of the original tasting of nine important Italian
wines which Filippo Bartolotta organized for Barack Obama and his
wife, Michelle, told by his very self. Our forchettiere (gourmet) Marco
Gemelli proposes a recipe from the tasty creative cuisine of Valentino
Cassanelli, chef at the restaurant Lux Lucis at Forte dei Marmi. The
two important events of the month of September in Florence are present
and they are the opening of Franco Zeffirelli’s International Performing
Arts Centre and the 30th edition of the International Antiques
Fair. And then there is the interview to Nano Campeggi, who has told
the story of Italian cinema through his drawings and billboards, but
not only. Our features The way we were, edited by our editorial staff

Un numero ricco di idee e contenuti questo dell’autunno. Ringrazio
i miei collaboratori sempre attivi e propositivi. Si parte da
Bolgheri con la presentazione del Musem, il Museo Sensoriale e
Multimediale del vino disegnato dal grande Dante Ferretti, scenografo
e tre volte premio Oscar. Sempre parlando di vino si passa in Maremma
a Val delle Rose alla scoperta del loro programma artistico culturale
dell’estate. Rimanendo in tema, da non perdere il “dietro le quinte”
dell’originale degustazione di nove importanti vini italiani che Filippo
Bartolotta ha organizzato per Barack Obama e sua moglie Michelle, da
lui stesso raccontato. Il nostro forchettiere Marco Gemelli ci propone
una ricetta della gustosa cucina creativa di Valentino Cassanelli, chef
del ristorante Lux Lucis a Forte dei Marmi. Non mancano i due importanti
eventi di questo mese di settembre a Firenze, come l’apertura del
Centro Internazionale delle Arti e dello Spettacolo di Franco Zeffirelli
e la 30° edizione della Mostra Internazionale dell’Antiquariato. E poi
un’intervista al grande artista fiorentino Nano Campeggi, che con i suoi
disegni e manifesti ha raccontato la storia del cinema Italiano, ma non
solo. Sempre molto viva la rubrica Come Eravamo a cura della redazione
e gli Shot on Site che fermano con le loro immagini i momenti più
