Lasciare il cane sotto il sole in auto lo espone a rischi molto alti. Il Codice della strada ha inasprito le sanzioni. Alte temperature Il nostro amico Fido rischia di stare molto male a causa delle temperature e per la mancanza di ossigeno. Tutto ciò può portarlo in poco tempo al collasso fino ad arrivare alla morte. Spesso, purtroppo, padroni incoscienti non pensano alle conseguenze. Il reato di abbandono di animale Se abbiamo deciso di trascorrere la giornata fuori casa e di portare con noi il nostro cane, non dobbiamo abbandonarlo in auto. Lasciare Fido in auto e allontanarsi è reato. Il comunicato della LNDC (Lega Nazionale per la Difesa del Cane) del 6/07/<strong>2020</strong> ha riportato due sentenze. Le sentenze Appellandosi all’art.727, la prima (n. 14250/14) ha condannato i proprietari di un Beagle, lasciato in auto per ore con il finestrino aperto al minimo; la seconda (n.175/2008) ha condannato il proprietario di un cane, rimasto chiuso in macchina al sole mentre fuori le temperature superavano i 30°. Il Codice Penale Riferendoci all’art. 727 del Codice Penale, riportiamo il testo integrale: “Chiunque abbandona animali domestici o che abbiano acquisito abitudini della cattività è punito con l’arresto fino ad un anno o con l’ammenda da 1.000 a 10.000 euro. Alla stessa pena soggiace chiunque detiene animali in condizioni incompatibili con la loro natura, e produttive di gravi sofferenze.” 38 BRESCIAUP
