The hammer, generally considered a symbol of strength and work,<br />
becomes - thanks to the use of glass – an “other” object which<br />
loses its function as a tool for hitting, for building but also for<br />
breaking. The fragility and purity of the material counterbalance<br />
the functionality and strength of the symbolic reference,<br />
generating a short-circuit of Dadaist memory.<br />
One of the two transparent pyrex glass hammers contains within<br />
it the result of its potential use, just like a real air chamber.<br />
