Andrea Ponsi opera nei campi della progettazione<br />

architettonica e urbanistica, del design, della pittura e<br />

della scrittura. I suoi progetti di architettura e design<br />

sono stati pubblicati su libri e riviste internazionali<br />

quali Domus, Casabella, Interni e Wallpaper e oggetto<br />

di mostre personali in Italia, Indonesia, Germania,<br />

Stati Uniti e Sud America. All’attività professionale<br />

affianca l’autoproduzione di oggetti, mobili e sistemi<br />

di allestimenti per mostre. È autore di “L’architettura<br />

dell’analogia” e “Disegnare analogie” dedicati al ruolo<br />

del pensiero analogico nella progettazione e “Florence<br />

- a map of perceptions” e “San Francisco - a map of<br />

perceptions” sulla percezione dello spazio urbano.<br />

È stato insegnante di progettazione e disegno presso<br />

l’University of California a Berkeley, la Syracuse<br />

University, l’University of Toronto e l’Institute of<br />

Technology Technion in Israele. Dal 2017 è Paul Kea<br />

Distinguished Professor presso l’University of Maryland.<br />

Andrea Ponsi works in the fields of architectural<br />

and urban planning, design, painting and writing. His<br />

architecture and design projects have been published<br />

in international books and magazines such as Domus,<br />

Casabella, Interni, and Wallpaper and are the subject<br />

of solo exhibitions in Italy, Indonesia, Germany, the<br />

United States and South America. He combines his<br />

professional activity with the self-production of objects,<br />

furniture and exhibition set-up systems. He is the author<br />

of “L’architettura dell’analogia” (“The Architecture<br />

of Analogy”) and “Disegnare analogie” (“Drawing<br />

Analogies”), both dedicated to the role of analogical<br />

thinking in design and he’s also the author of “Florence<br />

- a map of perceptions” and “San Francisco - a map of<br />

perceptions” dedicated to the perception of urban space.<br />

He was professor of design and drawing at the University<br />

of California at Berkeley, at the Syracuse University, at<br />

the University of Toronto and at the Technion Institute<br />

in Israel. Since 2017 he is Paul Kea Distinguished<br />

Professorat the University of Maryland.<br />

Franco Raggi<br />

Franco Raggi, (1945). È stato redattore di<br />

Casabella e direttore di MODO. Ha collaborato<br />

con la Triennale di Milano nelle mostre di<br />

architettura del 1973 e di design del 1983 e<br />

1985; con la Biennale di Venezia nella sezione<br />

Arti visive/Architettura del 1975/76. Ha<br />

partecipato al movimento delle avanguardie<br />

radicali degli anni ‘70 e curato nel 1973 la<br />

prima mostra critica sul Design Radicale<br />

all’IDZ di Berlino. Come designer ha progettato<br />

per Fontana Arte, Cappellini, Vistosi, Roset,<br />

Poltronova, Luceplan, Barovier & Toso,<br />

Artemide, Zeus-Noto, Danese. Si occupa di<br />

architettura, design industriale, scrittura e<br />

disegno. Sue opere sono nelle collezioni di<br />

MoMA, Beaubourg, FRAC e Triennale di Milano.<br />

Franco Raggi, class of 1945. He has been editor of<br />

Casabella and director of MODO. He collaborated<br />

with the Triennale di Milano in the architecture<br />

exhibition in 1973 and in the design exhibition<br />

in 1983 and 1985. He also collaborated with the<br />

Venice Biennale in the Visual Arts/Architecture<br />

section in 1975/76. He participated in the radical<br />

avant-garde movement of the ‘70s and curated<br />

the first critical exhibition on Radical Design in<br />

1973 at the IDZ in Berlin. As a designer he has<br />

worked for: Fontana Arte, Cappellini, Vistosi,<br />

Roset, Poltronova, Luceplan, Barovier & Toso,<br />

Artemide, Zeus-Noto and Danese. He deals<br />

with Architecture, Industrial Design, Writing<br />

and Drawing. As a designer he has worked for:<br />
