Around 100 of them, including many large, reproduced fullwall petroglyphs from the Frobenius Institute, as well as photographic and archive material, depict the epic evolutionary history of rock art. They were created in Europe, the central Sahara, the savannahs of Zimbabwe, and the Australian outback. This exhibition examines the impact of these never-before-seen images on modernity, and the manner in which they have inspired artists. 21 January - 16 May, 2016 Wed-Mon: 10 am – 7 pm Online-Tickets: www.gropiusbau.de/tickets Martin-Gropius-Bau Niederkirchnerstraße7 – 10963 Berlin Tel : +49 30 254 86-0 www.gropiusbau.de Metro: U & S Potsdamer Platz U2 S1 S2 S25 ROCK’N’ROLL!
