WORLD CAFÉ | DECK 7 ESPEN TOLLEFSEN 1963 X NORWAY X PHOTOGRAPHY Norwegian photographer Espen Tollefsen produces photographic art projects, documentary photography for magazines and photo-based illustrations. The starting point for several of his projects has been people and rural landscapes. Tollefsen touches on themes such as time and transience, especially through panoramic depictions of the power of the northern Norwegian landscape. He often manipulates and contorts his images, resulting in dreamlike representations of an environment that is equally beautiful and harsh, concrete and emotional. STOCKFISH | 2017 16

WORLD CAFÉ | DECK 7 KATE JENKINS 1971 X UK X CROCHET Kate Jenkins is an innovative British artist known for her unique knitted depictions of popular dishes and her nostalgic take on everyday items, reinvented with a comedic touch. In 1995, she graduated from the University of Brighton with a degree in fashion and textile. Before establishing her own fashion and homeware label in 2003, she was a successful knitting consultant and sold her designs to fashion labels including Marc Jacobs, Missoni, Sonia Rykiel and Donna Karan. Jenkins now works out of Cardigan, her studio and shop in Brighton, England, and her work is collected worldwide. HAND SEWN SEAFOOD | 2017 17
