Upgrad<strong>in</strong>g/crack<strong>in</strong>g/visbreak<strong>in</strong>g <strong>with</strong> little to no coke rema<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g(Inhibit asphaltene<br />

polymerization): ◎(JOGMEC+), Also drastically cut cost of Synthetic Crude Oil(SCO)<br />

• Wet Air Oxidation is used for WasteWater treatment: regular municipal, <strong>in</strong>dustrial,<br />

oil <strong>in</strong>dustry caustic water etc. Slightly different from & more "primitive" mechanics<br />

than SubCritical water process by use of bubbl<strong>in</strong>g reactor to <strong>in</strong>ject oxygen/air <strong>with</strong><br />

lower pressure than SubCritical water method, also generates slightly higher amount<br />

of emission than SCW(still m<strong>in</strong>imum), ◎(Veolia Water Athos, Bertrams ch, Wetox nz,<br />

Merichem - Kenox+), Used as pretreatment ◎(Granit Technologies SA+), but note<br />

many SCW oxidation(SCWO) process also <strong>in</strong>jects oxygen.<br />
