Juan Pinilla, who at the age of
30 is already one of the most
outstanding figures of Andalucian
flamenco, will present his new
show “Malditos”, which involves
historic singers and renowned
musicians from Granada. Juan
Pinilla became famous when he
won the first prize at the XLIV
Cante de las Minas de la Unión
National Contest (Murcia, 2004),
the most important prize in the
world of flamenco.

O grupo nasceu em 1975 e hoje é
a banda mais antiga e representativa
da música popular do
Salento, a área geográfica mais
ao sul da Apúlia. Desde 2007, a
banda tem como leader Mauro
Durante, conhecido tocador de
pandeiro e de violino que trabalha
com a “La Notte della Taranta”
(a maior manifestação de música
popular da Apúlia). O concerto
do Canzoniere é um espetáculo
muito intenso e rico de cor, ritmo
e magia que passa da energia da
“pizzica” a um olhar irónico sobre
a modernidade.
The group was founded in 1975
and today is the oldest and most

geographic area south of Puglia.
Since 2007, the band has been
headed by Mauro Durante, a
celebrated violin and tambourine
player working with “La Notte
della Taranta” (the greatest
manifestation of popular music
from Puglia). The concert by
Canzoniere is a very intense
show, replete with rich colours,
rhythms and magic, transmitting
the energy of the “pizzica” with
an ironic view of modernity.

Verdadeiro talento de Cádiz,
Jésus Fernández começa a sua
carreira de bailarino de flamenco
aos 6 anos. Graças também a sua
formação nas melhores academias
de flamenco e às suas colaborações
com grandes nomes como
Javier Latorre e Israel Galván, é
galardoado com diversos prémios
nacionais. Com outros grandes
músicos e bailarinos forma a
Companhia que traz o seu nome
e leva o flamenco nos melhores
palcos do mundo.
An authentic talent from Cádiz,
Jésus Fernández began his career
as a flamenco dancer at the age
of 6. Thanks partly to the training
he received at the best flamenco
academies and his collaborations
with great names such as Javier
Latorre and Israel Galván, he has
been awarded diverse national
prizes. Along with other great
musicians and dancers he is part
of the troupe bearing his name,
which has taken flamenco to the
best stages around the world.
