nanoplus <strong>Nano</strong>systems and Technologies GmbH is a <strong>Germany</strong>-based SME. S<strong>in</strong>ce its foundation<br />

<strong>in</strong> 1998 the company develops and manufactures optoelectronic devices for various <strong>in</strong>dustrial<br />

applications, such as gas sens<strong>in</strong>g, precision metrology as well as for telecom and medical<br />

purposes.<br />

Key products are complex coupled distributed feedback lasers. They are based on a patented<br />

technology and characterized by<br />

• s<strong>in</strong>gle mode emission with l<strong>in</strong>e width < 3 MHz<br />

• high side mode suppression ratio of typically 35 dB<br />

• mode hop free tun<strong>in</strong>g over a broad frequency range<br />

• comb<strong>in</strong>ed with low back reflection sensitivity<br />

• and low thresholds.<br />

nanoplus covers the whole wavelength range from 760 nm to 3 µm with its DFB and Fabry-Perot<br />

laser diodes.<br />

Furthermore nanoplus fabricates DFB- and FP-Quantum Cascade Lasers <strong>in</strong> the wavelength range<br />

from 5 µm to 14 µm.<br />
