Consumidores Industriais de Energia e Consumidores Livres) e ex-<br />
-secretário executivo do MME (Ministério de Minas e Energia) fala<br />
sobre suas expectativas para a votação da Lei do Gás no Senado<br />
Federal e a respeito dos impactos das novas regras nos custos<br />
de produção e na atividade econômica. “Virá a modernização da<br />
produção industrial e um ganho que nos permitirá competir nos<br />

to unlock its legislation on natural gas production, breaking<br />
the current monopoly in the Sector. In an interview,<br />
the current President of the Brazilian Association of Large <strong>Industrial</strong><br />
and Free Market Energy Consumers (Abrace) and former Executive<br />
Secretary of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) talks about his<br />
expectations for the vote on the “New Natural Gas Act” in the Federal<br />
Senate and about the impacts of the new rules on production<br />
costs and economic activity. “It will lead to the modernization of industrial<br />
production and a gain that will allow us to compete in global<br />
