Celulose: Como foi sua inserção no setor
de embalagens?
Luciana: Atuo há 25 anos no setor de embalagens.
Após um estágio internacional, já em
uma empresa do setor, consegui retornar ao
Brasil e durante esse período iniciei minha
participação na ABRE. Desde o início atuei
na criação dos comitês da ABRE e também
na busca por ampliar o engajamento das
empresas que são membras da entidade e
também no trabalho focado em trazer mais
pessoas para a associação.
Celulose: Como foi sua chegada à diretoria
executiva da ABRE?
Luciana: O trabalho com o ABRE sustentabilidade
e o desenvolvimento de outras
atividades dentro da associação facilitaram
muito esse processo. Pois o tema se tornou
de grande valia para todo o segmento e esse
trabalho ganhou cada vez mais importância
dentro da associação. Em 2002, recebi o
convite para ir para a diretoria-executiva,
pois era necessário alguém de dentro da
ABRE para dar prosseguimento aos projetos,
uma vez que o presidente, devido às atividades
além da associação, não poderia gerir
essas pautas. Considero o setor fascinante e
encantador. Trabalhar para o crescimento da
entidade é uma grande alegria e honra que
tenho em minha carreira.
Celulose: Quais as principais ações da
associação?
Luciana: A ABRE trabalha com quatro pilares
para o desenvolvimento da atividade.
O primeiro é o de fortalecimento do setor,
utilizando da nossa força para representar o
segmento de embalagens para todo o setor
público. O segundo pilar é o de mercado,
onde trabalhamos para trazer mais oportunidades
para nossos associados, através de
um bom relacionamento entre empresas e
também na aproximação com outros setores.
Além desses, temos o pilar da informação,
Celulose: How did you become involved
in the packaging industry?
Luciana: I have worked for twenty-five
years in the Packaging Sector. After an
international internship with a company in
the Sector, I returned to Brazil, and during
this period, I began to participate in Abre.
From the beginning, I worked on creating
Abre committees, the search to increase
the involvement of Abre members companies,
and in work focused on bringing
more people into the Association.
Celulose: When did you join the Executive
Board?
Luciana: The work with Abre on sustainability
and the development of other
activities within the Association greatly
facilitated this process. Because the theme
became of great value for the whole
segment, this work gained increasing
importance within the Association. In
2002, I received an invitation to join the
Executive Board because it was necessary
for someone from inside Abre to continue
the projects, since the President, due to
activities beyond the Association, could
not carry out the agendas. I find the Sector
fascinating and charming. Working for its
growth brings me great joy, an honor in my
career.
Celulose: What are the main actions of
the Association?
Luciana: Abre works with four pillars for
the development of the activity. The first is
to strengthen the Sector, using our strength
to represent the packaging segment before
the entire public sector. The second pillar
is the market, where we work to bring
more opportunities to our members through
a good relationship between companies
and in approximation with other sectors.

which is linked to the courses we offer and
