Studii privind interactia celulelor cu suprafete tratate in plasma. Crearea in plasma de suprafete cu<br />
efect de accentuare a atasamentului celular sau cu efect de inhibare a atasamentului celular.<br />
Realizarea unor studii de interactie a plasmelor generate in configuratii variate cu aplicabilitate la<br />
descompunerea substantelor poluante din faza lichida. S-a studiat in cooperare cu Universitatea<br />
Bucuresti, Facultatea de chimie, Departamentul de tehnologie chimica si cataliza distrugerea<br />
compusilor organici volatili din fluxuri de aer poluate folosind sisteme plasmo-catalitice. Cuplarea<br />
plasmei cu cataliza heterogena a condus in general la o crestere usoara a conversiei compusilor<br />
organici comparativ cu rezultatele obtinute in plasma, in absenta catalizatorilor. Aditia catalizatorilor<br />
a avut ca efect principal o imbunatatire semnificativa a selectivitatii procesului fata de oxidarea<br />
totala. De asemenea s-a abordat problema distrugerii poluantilor organici din apa folosind descarcari<br />
electrice pulsate. S-a dezvoltat o descarcare corona pulsata produsa in bule de gaz barbotate prin<br />
solutia ce contine compusul organic investigat. Alternativ s-a studiat o descarcare cu bariera<br />
dielectrica produsa la interfata gaz-lichid in scopul unei bune utilizari a tuturor speciilor active<br />
produse in descarcare pentru distrugerea poluantilor.<br />
Studiul proceselor de descompunere a colorantilor organici din mediu lichid utilizand jeturi de<br />
plasma rece cu functionare subacvatica.<br />
