Where the ideal existence is to be humane
Worried lest I'd be starving, I'd give
I'm guided by a conscience that breathes
And feels the misery of my fellows
It goes beyond material aid
Having a listening ear,
A tight embrace,
A warm smile,
A nice pat on the shoulder or my mere presence
Can do wonders
Can move mountains
Simple gestures for my heart's simple treasures.
Small acts of humanity
Humanity is more than just being a philanthropist
It is that trait of being humane in an inhuman society.
As nomads of the modern world,
We fail to realize that we live in excesses
We have so much of everything we wanted
At any moment Having a heart that shares to the needy, is
humanity
Being selfless in the midst of our personal predicaments,
is humanity
Feeding the hungry on the palm of your hand, is humanity
Being a person for others, is humanity.
