METAMATERIAL BASED ON COUPLED DIELECTRIC RESONATORS<br />
A model of metamaterial based on spherical cubic structure is considered. The structure<br />
exhibits properties of material with negative effective permittivity and permeability. Experimental<br />
results are presented. New model with closely positioned spherical dielectric resonators<br />
was introduced. The magnetic dipole is provided by Mie resonance in a spherical particle<br />
and electric dipole is provided by a mutual interaction between resonators. Modelling of 2D<br />
structure shows backward wave existence in a medium being considered.<br />
