Jorde Jakimovski: RecommendationsRECOMMENDATIONSThe success of these conventions will depend on the readiness of theGovernment, the local authorities, non-governmental sector, and of the allother organizations or individuals, to turn these recommendations in deeds.This kind of readiness for genuine integration of social questions from allaspects will help considerably in achieving the quality in the lives of everyone,particularly the vulnerable groups, or those in the underdevelopedregions. The whole effort has to be directed toward lasting economic andsocial development in the frames of the sustainable development, including:1. Legal reforms. Providing stable legal frame in agreement with theEU legislation, complete respect of all human rights, freedoms, and the ruleof law. The worthwhileness of the undertaken state measures, including: theprivatisation effects of the public/state capital on the public wellbeing of thepopulation, state’s legal functions in the domain of economy, participationof the ownership in the management and decisionmaking, etc. has to bereconsidered. The reforms in the social sector, the labour market, tax system,and the decentralisation of the local management have to continue inthe function of better social life.2. Labour market reforms. The goal of the reforms has to be directedtoward creation of changes and additions of the legal regulation; particularlyfor better evaluation of the labour. More specifically, the minimalwage that will provide material and social security for the employed has tobe established. Likewise, international law regulations related to the employmentand carrying out specific activities from the side of economicsubjects has to be applied.3. Economic reforms. Solid, stable macroeconomic, and sector’spolitic that will provide continuous economic increase and development hasto be carried out. This will open new workplaces, enable decrease of poverty,and normal social life.
