Questioning techniques are important to instruction because they can be uses to provide purposes for reading, to elicit
and focus direction, and to check for comprehension. Using the seven question types based on comprehension factors,
compose a question aligned with each factor about the content of an assigned chapter in our text. Post your questions
along with a brief explanation of how an answer could be found or formulated. Question Types: 1. Main Idea 2. Detail 3.
Vocabulary 4. Sequence 5. Inference 6. Evaluation 7. Creative Response. Guided Response: Review several of your
classmates? questions and respond to at least two with answers to their questions. Analyze the alignment of their
questions to the types and offer any suggestions for modification that may increase the validity of their questions. You
may also provide feedback to any classmates who answer the questions you created.
