Job Descriptions Elizabeth Peterson Comprehensive Program Plan Owner/Director (CEO) Elizabeth Peterson Reports to: Self and Client Job Objective: To oversee the planning of all aspects of events from conception through completion, and to manage personnel and financial aspects associated with events. Qualifications: · BS in Event Management or related field · Experience with accounting and financial management of an event planning company · Proven experience as an events planner, minimum 5 years preferred · Excellent rapport with clients and good communication skills · Ability to build productive business relationships · Specialized knowledge of budgets and Microsoft Office programs · Proven management experience relating to the event personnel · Knowledge of event promotion and marketing · Be able to multitask in order to oversee all areas of the event planning process Leadership or Supervisory Duties: · Oversee hiring of assistant director and event captains · Be first point of contact with possible clients · Lead creative brainstorming meetings to develop an event plan · Oversee all financial and monetary areas of the company 7
