Reports to: Self and Client<br />

Job Objective: To oversee the planning of all aspects of events from conception<br />

through completion, and to manage personnel and financial aspects associated with<br />

events.<br />

Qualifications:<br />

· BS in Event Management or related field<br />

· Experience with accounting and financial management of an event planning<br />

company<br />

· Proven experience as an events planner, minimum 5 years preferred<br />

· Excellent rapport with clients and good communication skills<br />

· Ability to build productive business relationships<br />

· Specialized knowledge of budgets and Microsoft Office programs<br />

· Proven management experience relating to the event personnel<br />

· Knowledge of event promotion and marketing<br />

· Be able to multitask in order to oversee all areas of the event planning process<br />

Leadership or Supervisory Duties:<br />

· Oversee hiring of assistant director and event captains<br />

· Be first point of contact with possible clients<br />

· Lead creative brainstorming meetings to develop an event plan<br />

· Oversee all financial and monetary areas of the company<br />
